th home.  Bend’s housing market has rebounded, however, affordable housing is one of the most important issues facing this incredible community.  As far as my Habitat Story goes, after 6 years of helping with fundraising, I decided to take my involvement to the next level and joined the Board of Directors this last January.  While my knowledge of what Habitat does has grown over the years (Global Build Trips, The ReStore, reclamation, homeowner education, family mentorship, woman build, charity golf tournaments and more!) what continues to drive me to stay involved is the culmination of the process, at a home dedication, when a family sets foot in their very own home for the first time. by Kate Shanley- Habitat Board member and Managing Director, Coachwell, Inc.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]]]>
