The Bend store was established in 1997 and is one of over 800 stores and counting, operated in four countries by local Habitat for Humanity Affiliates.
The store opened in 1997 at Pakit Liquidators. Pat Korish, Pakit’s owner, gave the ReStore its start when he designated 500 square feet of his own retail space to Habitat to accept and sell donations of new and used building supplies and household goods.
Today the ReStore is located on 3rd Street (Highway 97) across from Robberson Ford and Wagner Mall, with approximately 18,000 sf of retail space.
Over 800 Stores in 3 countries and counting!
Habitat for Humanity ReStores are nonprofit home improvement stores and donation centers that sell new and gently used furniture, home accessories, building materials, and appliances to the public at a fraction of the retail price.
Habitat for Humanity ReStores are proudly owned and operated by local Habitat for Humanity affiliates, and proceeds are used to build homes, community, and hope locally and around the world.
